Hi Friends! In this how to crochet post I teach you how to make a Slip Knot. A Slip Knot is one of the very beginning steps when learning how to crochet. The video below includes steps for how to Slip Knot, Yarn Over, and Chain. (In this order)
I decided to make all three of these crochet techniques into one video tutorial because of their relation to each other.

To Make A Slip Knot
Step 1: Make a loop and place the loose tail on top of the working yarn.
Step 2: Insert hook into loop and grab the loose tail.
Step 3: Pull the loose tail through the loop.
Step 4: Holding both tails, pull to tighten the slip knot onto the hook.
