Hi friends! I’m so happy to finally be posting here on my crochet blog again! Besides this post, I only have one other…from last year! It’s time to really put this space to good use and I’m so excited for today’s amigurumi post! Today I will be doing a Sweet Crochet Friends Book Review!
A few weeks back, Khuc Cay from @lespetitesmainsdekhuccay asked if I would like to be a part of her amigurumi book tour for her new crochet book, Sweet Crochet Friends. I of course said yes because I absolutely love the things Khuc Cay makes! No doubt this crochet book would be just as amazing! I couldn’t wait to flip through and see all 16 designs. There were so many to choose from and I couldn’t wait to pick my favorite!
Can I just say how difficult it is to pick just one amigurumi cutie? I couldn’t decide on just one, so I made two instead! Peter the Panda and Billy the Cat were the top contenders so those are what I made!
I always love trying new crochet techniques so I went with the ones that had quite a bit of color changing but would still be simple enough that I could finish these amigurumi projects in no time. I loved seeing these come to life as I crocheted. These two friends are so adorable together and I know I’ll have a hard time parting with them! One of my favorite parts was crocheting those tiny fish for them to share at dinner!
Take a look at how cute these two amigurumi designs turned out! I’m in love!
Khuc Cay did such a wonderful job on this book! Everything from the crochet patterns to the step-by-step photos! This book is perfect for everyone of all skill levels. One thing I really loved about this book were the photos. I’m a visual person so when I see a crochet pattern that has loads of photos to help me, I’m sold! Everything is laid out and explained so well that it made it easy to follow along. This would be perfect for anyone just starting out who wants to try amigurumi for the first time!
If you’d like a chance to win a copy of Sweet Crochet Friends, be sure to head over to my Instagram for all the details! But if you’re like me and can’t wait to get your hands on a copy, you can find it on Amazon!
Thank you, Khuc Cay and Tuva Publishing for sending me a copy! I can’t wait to make more of these sweet amigurumi friends!
I hope you loved this Sweet Crochet Friends Book Review as much as I loved making the cuties from it! Please make sure to check back for future book reviews here!
